About AmeriCorps
AmeriCorps, is an independent agency of the United States government. This agency dedicated to engaging individuals in service through various volunteer work programs in different sectors.
Their primary mission is to support the community and its people during times of need. The organization has several specially designed programs. Those enable positive change in communities in all 50 U.S. states, territories, and select tribal nations. AmeriCorps State and National programs have a two-fold benefits. The programs provide service and uplift the community and promote lifelong civic engagement amongst the volunteers.
