OpenEyes Technologies is proud to announce that our Co-Founder and CTO, Trushant Mehta, had the immense pleasure of welcoming the Honorable Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, upon his arrival in Washington, D.C. on February 12ᵗʰ.

He was among a group of 29 individuals who had been chosen to greet Prime Minister Modi at the airport. This rare opportunity allowed him to personally meet and exchange greetings with the esteemed leader.

“The experience was truly surreal,” shared Trushant Mehta. “Shaking hands with Prime Minister Modi was an unforgettable moment.

What resonated most deeply was his genuine and immediate response. As I greeted him with “Jai Bharat (Long live India)” and “Jai Jinendra (A common greeting in Jainism),” he looked me in the eye and echoed back, “Jai Jinendra.” 

It was a powerful connection, a moment where history, culture, and leadership converged.

Moments like these remind us that dreams do come true!
