TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs) is a global nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship through mentoring, networking, education, and funding. With a presence in 14 countries, 61 chapters, and a network of over 15,000 members, including 3,000+ charter members, TiE empowers startups and business leaders by providing invaluable resources, connections, and opportunities for growth. 

Founded in 1992 by a group of successful entrepreneurs, TiE has grown into one of the world’s largest entrepreneurial ecosystems, supporting over 50,000 startups and contributing to the creation of millions of jobs globally. Through its various programs, TiE helps aspiring entrepreneurs connect with seasoned mentors, access funding opportunities, and gain industry insights to accelerate their journey toward success. 

Through it’s D.C. chapter, TiE DC became a Hub for Innovation with three supportive pillars: 

• Focus on Impact: Prioritize initiatives that support startups, drive economic growth, and create a positive social impact. 
• Strong Community: A vibrant and engaged community of entrepreneurs, investors, mentors, and corporate leaders provide invaluable support and resources to aspiring entrepreneurs.    
• Impactful Programs: Offers a wide range of programs, including mentorship programs, workshops, networking events, and investment forums. these programs provide entrepreneurs with the tools, knowledge, and connections they need to succeed.    

We are excited to announce that our Co-Founder & CTO, Trushant Mehta, has been elected to serve on the board. Mr. Mehta say “I’m honored to have been elected to the TiE DC Chapter Board!
