TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs) is a global nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship through mentoring, networking, education, and funding. With a presence in 14 countries, 61 chapters, and a network of over 15,000 members, including 3,000+ charter members, TiE empowers startups and business leaders by providing invaluable resources, connections, and opportunities for growth. 

A group of successful entrepreneurs founded TiE in 1992, and it has since grown into one of the world’s largest entrepreneurial ecosystems. Supporting over 50,000 startups and creating millions of jobs globally. TiE connects aspiring entrepreneurs with seasoned mentors, funding opportunities, and industry insights to accelerate their path to success.

Through its D.C. chapter, TiE DC became a Hub for Innovation with three supportive pillars:

• Strong Community: A vibrant and engaged community of entrepreneurs, investors, mentors, and corporate leaders provides invaluable support and resources to aspiring entrepreneurs.

We’re excited to announce that our Co-Founder & CTO, Trushant Mehta, will serve on the board. Mr. Mehta says “I’m honored to have been elected to the TiE DC Chapter Board!
